Jewel In No Crown.... yet

I promised to help a niece in taking pictures of her hand-made jewellery for sale. It's also for my own experience in trying to photograph those accessories.

In any case, this is my first few shots and I will be trying some other angles with perhaps another lens and more lighting set-up.

Any pointers from the pro's out there?

Incorrect day.... huhuhu..

Not sure why I kept having this thought that Ben's birthday is 17th Jan. It was sheer coincidence that yesterday Edi and I went to Bukit Bintang to meet up with his brother who just flew in with his family in the late evening. Since Ben finishes early on Sundays, I asked him to meet us at Pavilion. I had told Ben earlier in the week to have dinner with him on Sunday, not realising Edi's brother was due to arrive only late evening and Edi would want to meet him at the hotel. It was after meeting Ben that I found out his birthday was LAST WEEK... eeeeeeeeeeeks....

Anyway we went to Pavilion. It was a virginal trip for both Edi and I. We never step foot in that monstrosity before..

After Edi finished meeting up with his brother, the three of us had dinner at Tony Roma's in Pavilion. It was really a good dinner. Big portions too. We shared a steak which included 2 ribs, a pacific cod, and a ceasar's salad between us. After dinner Ben sent us back home as he was going back to Subang. Luckily I had actually bought a present for his birthday since last month, and I gave it to him when we reached home... Happy belated birthday ~!!

Last Saturday, FS and Chung dropped by after they went shopping at Ikea. We went for lunch. Back in the house I managed to take these shots..
