Half-baked, or in other words...

Yeah.. half-past six.

That seems to be the trend in a lot of news reporting and work ethics these days.

Not to mention the kind of copy in countless advertising material in print.
Each time I get those leaflets or drop-mails in my postbox, I get plenty of laughs.

Better still, I keep getting snail mail from Citibank addressed to persons who have moved out of this house for 9 years or more. And mind you, I dutifully marked each of them "return to sender" and also note down for them to read that there are no more such persons here. Yet they still send. Again and again.

Makes you wonder what sort of morons work in whatever department in that bank. But I suppose it's fine. They are paying the postage both ways.

The State of Affairs...

Virgin, but not touched for the very first time...

Now don't get it all wrong.

It's a bottle of virgin coconut oil.
Why virgin?
Because it's extracted via a cold press process, not using heat like most coconut oils are obtained.

Reportedly, it's excellent for external as well as internal uses. It has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, therefore its good for the skin if used as a massage oil.
Best yet, it doesn't turn rancid unlike normal coconut oil.

Mixed with other specific herbs, it can be a great help to one's health. It is also said to be helpful for hair growth and rejuvenation.

Anyway, when applied judiciously, it can also be of immense utility in providing salacious slipperiness, virgin or not...

It wasn't raining cats and dogs...

Under my umbrella... ella... ella.. ella...
Remember that mindless song?

It had been humid for a day or so. And it had been very hot for a few days. Indoors it is 34 degrees celcius. Any higher and you'd have fried eggs in places you'd not want to know.

Then it rained a little late this morning. Actually it was more like a cat's pee. And that distant grumbling in the skies. Almost like an advertisement : more hype than fact.

I guess it's preferable to an incessantly hot day, especially for those religiously enjoying their fasting.

Hope you fellas are savouring your day at work / sleep / whatever you're doing. For me, it's as usual - in close proximity with my computer...

Track Of The Cat...

(taken with my 500D @ Ipoh)

In case you were born in the AD (after digital) years, the title above refers to an album by Dionne Warwick (yes, there were many singers before Lady GaGa, Madonna & co). The album featured the following songs :

~ Track of the cat
~ His house and me
~ Ronnie Lee
~ World of my dreams
~ Jealousy
~ This is love
~ Love me one more time
~ Once you hit the road

This wasn't really a mainstream album for Ms Warwick, but it's a very soothing collection to listen to. I can't find the CD of this album, and I managed to get the mp3 of the title song only a few days ago after months of searching.

I do have the vinyl album though. And that is why I so want that Crosley player which can convert vinyls to CD in 1 step.

Anyone care to help get it for me?

Twinkle, twinkle no more....

It used to be "twinkle twinkle, little stars; how I wonder what you are.."
But like more and more things, over-commercialisation sets in.

Now we have glitter paper stars.
We have plastic ketupats.
There are fake eggs.
Even fake ikan bilis.
Fake green peas in big supermarkets.

And far too many people fake their orgasms.

Stars belong in the sky up above, however high.
And the moon will be there, whether we want to see it or not.

Have a blessed ramadhan.
Remember it's NOT about gluttony at the end of each day.
Or bling bling new things for raya day.

Those are just crap commercialisation.
But if you wish to join the BIG CRAPPY crowd out there and be happy... go ahead.

Till next posting~~!

Have you lost your marbles...??

These are perfectly round glass marbles.
But you see them distorted because of the enclosing glass container which is not perfect.

Ergo it's the same with what we see in others. They aren't "perfect" because our vision of them isn't perfect to begin with.

So don't lose your marbles.
You may need them.

..hehehe..
